It is an honour to introduce myself as the Principal of the International School Benghazi (ISB). I was educated within the British education system in the United Kingdom and pursued my postgraduate studies at the University of Manchester, where I earned my MA and PhD, and obtained my PGCE from the University of Chester. I have extensive experience in teaching and leadership roles within UK secondary schools and higher education. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with teachers and educational leaders to enhance teaching standards, strengthen assessment practices, and promote inclusive learning. I have also led initiatives in curriculum development, formative assessment, and professional development, ensuring high-quality teaching aligned with strong educational principles. My vision for ISB is to create an outstanding learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to achieve their full potential. We believe that academic excellence and personal development go hand in hand. Through our British curriculum, we foster curiosity, creativity, resilience, integrity, and respect, ensuring our students develop the knowledge, confidence, and character needed to thrive both academically and personally. At ISB, we recognise that the strongest schools are built on meaningful partnerships between students, families, and staff.
